Series of discussions to be held within ‘Let’s develop like Japan’ initiative

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Speaker of the State Great Khural (Parliament) G.Zandanshatar has received Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Mongolia Ms. Tamura Eriko.
At the meeting held between the sides in May, the Speaker organized a discussion on the fourth chapter of Japan's development and innovation policy and proposed to Ms.Tamura to organize the coming deliberative discussion on this topic.
During this meeting, the sides exchanged views on a series of discussions to be held within the framework of the ‘Let’s develop like Japan’ initiative.
Emphasizing the importance
of studying Japan's development experience, the Speaker said that the
"Let's develop like Japan" initiative is being implemented, plans are
being made for specific reforms, and inter-sectoral coordination is being
ensured.
The first discussion of the
series is scheduled for September, and the JICA President will deliver a
speech.
