Mongolian Youths to Study U.S. Political Systems Under MUNCEP-2025

Ulaanbaatar, June 9, 2025 / MONTSAME/. On June 4, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the United States Batbayar Ulziidelger received A. Odontuya, G. Tergel, and J. Saruul, and congratulated them on being selected for the MUNCEP-2025.
The selected participants will intern for two months, starting on June 2 to August 1, 2025, in various offices of elected officials, public agencies, or in organizations involved in the political, government, or policy influencing arena, such as the U.S. Congress, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations. During this period, they will familiarize themselves with the U.S. political system and develop their civic engagement and leadership skills.
According to the Mongolian Embassy in the United States, the Mongolian-U.S. National Civic Engagement Program (MUNCEP) has been jointly implemented by the Mongolian Embassy in the United States and the U.S.-Asia Institute since 2022. This Program aims at nurturing future leaders who would contribute to further developing Mongolia-U.S. relations.
