Issue on opening Consulate General of Mongolia in Chicago to be consented

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On February 4, the Cabinet discussed and decided to consent the issue on opening Consulate General of Mongolia in Chicago, USA, with relevant Parliamentary Standing Committee.
Around 8000 Mongolian citizens are living and studying in Chicago. Since living standard is relatively low there in addition to having great opportunity to find jobs, cheap renting apartments and friendly welfare policy for its residents, a large number of Mongolians reside there . Therefore, the Cabinet reckons that it is proper to open the consulate in Chicago.
