Work performance of public servants to be quarterly evaluated

On January 23, the Cabinet approved a Regulation to Formulate and Approve the Performance Report of Public Servants and Evaluate the Results and Professional Levels.
The Government
has raised the salary of public servants by eight percent from January 1, 2019
in consistent with the inflation rate. In this regard, the government assigns public
servants to be responsible for their work and serve people promptly without red tape.
According to the regulation, the work performance of public servants will be quarterly assessed and the progress will be assessed yearly. It is expected to make the assessment more realistic. It also aims to ensure objectives stated in the relevant law, such as to improve knowledge and skills of public servants required to fulfill the duties of the public service, and make them work stable.
