Administrative units of Mongolia and Sweden to cooperate

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Mongolia Ms Anna Lindstedt on December
25 at the State House.
Head of Citizens’ Representatives Khural of Khuvsgul aimag L.Tumurbaatar asked the Swedish side to share experience and render technical support on pulling 54 submerged vehicles out of Khuvsgul Lake.
During the
meeting, Ms. Anna Lindstedt expressed to back the proposal to launch cooperation
between administrative units by making Tsagaannuur soum of Khuvsgul aimag and Jokkmokk
county of Sweden brotherhood cities.
Documentations and historical objects and pieces related to Mongolian history and culture are being preserved in museums and university libraries in Sweden. The sides mutually exchanged views on carrying out joint project on studying and cataloging them by scholars’ team from Mongolia as well as conducting an exhibition in Mongolia in 2019 on the occasion of the 55th establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
