Ts.Tsogzolmaa to focus attention on scientific field

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Ts.Tsogzolmaa held Thursday a meeting with members of the General and Sub-assemblies of the Academy of Sciences, leaders and administrative officials of the Academy.
The Minister informed that the meeting ran in order to support initiatives of scientists and scholars and to make progress on the policy level.
“A foundation of a country’s sustainable development resides within the selection of right-planning based on science,” he said.
“It is vital now to adhere to an international practice where the real support is provided when investments for scientific works reach one per cent of GDP,” said the scholars. Furthermore, the representatives of Mongolian Academy of Sciences advised to focus on upgrading technologies of scientific organizations, protecting Mongolian language, supporting steady workplace for experts with academic degrees of highly developed countries and setting the concept of science.
