Eight Mongolian artworks competing in Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition of Taichung city

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A total of seven artists from the Arts Council of Mongolia, Union of Mongolian Artists and the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture are presenting their eight works at Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition of Taichung city.


Specifically, artwork by B.Bayart-Od was selected in oil painting while J.Munkhjargal's in watercolor painting, Z.Uyanga in printmaking, D.Batzorig and D.Otgonbayar are in sculpture, D.Otgonbayar, A.Chogdgavaa and S.Bayarsaikhan are in crafts categories. Results of the final selection will be announced at the mid of this month.


Artists from 21 countries are taking part in Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition of Taichung city, which is one of the largest exhibitions in Taiwan. Such as this, out of total 1318  artistic creations, some 200 works were selected in the next selection.


Representative of the Taipei Trade and Economic Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar Huan Kuo-Jung said “It is remarkable success that eight Mongolian artworks have been selected this year, which was only two last year. I am expressing my gratitude to these artists who are showing features and potential of Mongolian artists proudly to not only Taiwanese people also international art lovers.”
