Lunar-Spotted Bay Horse Trained by G. Buyantogtokh Wins National Naadam's Daaga Race

Ulaanbaatar, July 12, 2025 /MONTSAME/. In celebration of the 2234th anniversary of the establishment of Mongolian Statehood, the 819th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, the 114th anniversary of the Restoration of National Freedom and Independence, and the 104th anniversary of the People’s Revolution of Mongolia, the youngest age category of the National Naadam Horse Races the Daaga (two-year-old) race was held today.
Out of 240 registered foals, 123 met the official wither height standard and started the race.
The top five finishers are as follows:

Winning horse: A lunar-spotted bay daaga trained by The State Leading Horse Trainer G. Buyantogtokh from Delgerkhaan soum, Tuv aimag

Runner-up: A chestnut roan daaga trained by The Aimag Renowned Horse Trainer E. Ulaankhuu from Luus soum, Dundgovi aimag

Third place: A bay roan daaga trained by The Aimag Renowned Horse Trainer G. Batsaikhan from Murun soum, Khuvsgul aimag

Fourth place: A gray daaga trained by The State Leading Horse Trainer B. Tsendbaatar from Matad soum, Dornod aimag
