20.9 million tons of freight carried by rail transport
In the first eight months of this year, 20.9 million tons of freight were carried by railway transport. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the carried freight increased by 1.5 million tons (7.5%).

World Bank forecasts 4.5 percent growth in Mongolia
According to World Bank, Mongolia’s economic growth is projected to expand by 4.5 percent this year, nearly 2 percentage points less than previous forecast. As for 2022, it is expected to be 5.2 percent.

COVID-19: 2,777 new cases, 12 deaths reported
The Ministry of Health reported today, September 19 that 2,777 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the past 24 hours. More specifically, 1,357 new cases were detected in the capital city, with 1,417 cases in rural regions.
