Mongolia receives 84 thousand Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines from Japan
In the framework of non-refundable assistance from the Government of Japan, Mongolia received 84,240 doses of vaccines on June 16. This is the first shipment of a total of about 2.35 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines being provided in the framework of USD 21.5 million non-refundable aid of Japan.

Specialized laboratory established for hide and leather research
A specialized laboratory for hide and leather research has been established at the School of Industrial Technology of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. Despite counting 60-70 million heads of livestock annually, only 10 thousand items of hide are processed each year.

The nationwide polls for the 2021 presidential election of Mongolia are about to begin in less than 24 hours - at 7 AM, June 9, Wednesday. Election campaigning for Mongolia’s presidential election has ended at 12 AM, June 8, after running for 15 days, with the election silence period now launched.

Today marks Children’s Day in Mongolia
