Intergovernmental transport agreement implementation committee convenes

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The trilateral committee in charge
of implementing the Intergovernmental Agreement on International Road Transport
along the Asian Highway Network, which was established within the program on
establishment of Mongolia-China-Russia Economic Corridor, held its second
meeting virtually on May 25.
The committee discussed the implementation of the actions
agreed on during its first meeting, measures being taken to cope with international
COVID-19 related transport challenges, how permits will be used in 2021 and
2022, as well as opportunities for transporting on the Asian Highway 4.
The sides agreed to take necessary actions to ease the restrictions
imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resume international transport.
