Mongolia and Vietnam relations to be intensified in five directions

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 1, H.E. Mrs. B.Battsetseg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia received H.E. Mr. Doan Khanh Tam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia.
During the meeting,
Foreign Minister B. Battsetseg pointed out that Mongolia attaches a large
emphasis to its relations with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and
highlighted the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas as
well as expanding the trade, investment and economic cooperation.
Ambassador Doan
Khanh Tam introduced his 5 priority objectives set for his tenure in Mongolia,
which are aimed at intensifying political dialogue, boosting trade and economic
cooperation, promoting cultural exchanges and tourism, promoting transportation
and air connectivity as well as facilitating mutual travel conditions.
Foreign Minister
expressed her support to Ambassador’s 5 objectives, outlining them as
well-defined and required directions to further consolidate Mongolian-Vietnam
relations.
