9 new imported COVID-19 cases reported, total reaches 349

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. During the press briefing of the
Ministry of Health, Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases
D.Nyamkhuu reported that 9 new imported cases of COVID-19 were detected after 2,363 tests carried out in the past three days or between October 30 and November 1.
Specifically, a woman arrived on a Tokyo-Ulaanbaatar charter flight on October 28, and 3 men, including a Russian national, arrived on October 22 through Altanbulag border checkpoint, and 5 freight truck drivers entered Mongolia through Altanbulag border checkpoint, tested positive for the virus.
The cases were detected from the people, who were placed
under mandatory isolation upon their arrivals from abroad.
As of today, the number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia has reached 349 with 313 recoveries. Currently, 36 patients are undergoing treatment at the NCCD, of which 28 of them are in mild and 8 are in serious health conditions.
