‘Responsible, sustainable society’ project team works in Dundgobi aimag

Dundgobi /MONTSAME/. The project team for ‘Responsible, sustainable society’ being jointly implemented by ‘Niigmiin tunshleliin suljee’ NGO and the Danish-Mongolian Society worked in Dundgobi aimag. With the agreement for its implementation established, project activities has been carried out since 2019.
In the framework of the project, instructors have been prepared for the ‘Start and Improve Your Business’ program of the International Labor Organization, and capacity building training has been organized for local business owners. Furthermore, groups have also been established for the improvement of the businesses, which conducts its operations in aims of boosting their participation and partnership.
During their working visit, the project team held a meeting with representatives of 10 groups that are operating in Saintsagaan soum to receive their suggestions and became acquainted with the operations of some businesses that were involved in the Start and Improve Your Business program.
The Saintsagaan soum branch of ‘Niigmiin tunshleliin suljee’ NGO also organized training for the program for the fourth time, followed by a meeting held with the first program graduates to discuss the project results so far and give advice on enhancing partnership between groups, capacity building, and organizing advocacy works.
