Operation of Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital to run normal under control of Education Ministry

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular session held today, the Cabinet discussed an issue related to Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital or University Hospital at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences.
Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Yo.Baatarbileg presented the decision made at the meeting. He said “The Cabinet fully resolved issues on operational financing and equipment of Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. The teaching hospital will belong to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports from today and its operation will run normal in the future.”
“Funding for some required equipment for the hospital will be solved with financing of MNT 14 billion from the World Bank.The Ministry will be responsible for its normal operation further. Units such as diagnostic imaging, ambulatory, traditional medicine and laboratory are operating so far,” he added.
