COVID-19 prevention efforts being made in Khovd aimag

Khovd /MONTSAME/ Khovd aimag will be supplied with raw
materials for 5,000 face masks under the World Vision’s Community
Development Program.
To prevent the coronavirus disease, the aimag’s authorities decided to provide face masks to 40,000 people living in the settlements with help of the local sewing factories and instructed soum governors to do the same.
In connection to the decision, the World Vision program
office undertook to supply the sewing factories with materials necessary for
making 5,000 face masks as part of its social responsibility.
The organization also plans to provide 350 herder families in target groups with nutriment and 2,500 families with hand sanitizing products, and advice on prevention of coronavirus and influenza and flu-like illnesses.
