Selenge aimag and Kyakhtinsky District establish cooperation agreement

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the local council of Selenge
aimag G.Byambaa and Head of the Council of Deputies of Kyakhtinsky District Mataev
Igor Valerievich signed an agreement on cooperation between the local bodies.
Under the agreement based on the traditional friendly relations
of Mongolian and Buryat people, historical and economic similarities and the
regions’ close geographic proximity, the local councils will encourage public
private partnerships.
In particular, they will cooperate in organizing academic conferences, sporting events, environmental protection activities, cultural and anniversary events, student exchanges, collaboration of museums and libraries as well as organizing traditional festivals such as 'Altargana' and 'Ev mod'.
