Mongolian students grab two bronze medals from International Chemistry Olympiads

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian high school students won two bronze medals from the 51st International Chemistry Olympiads (IChO 2019) that took place in Paris, France between July 21-30.
Specifically, of the four students that participated in the olympiad representing Mongolia, A.Ashid from Orchlon School and B.Arvin from New Beginning School were awarded bronze medals.
309 students from 80 countries participated in IChO 2019 with four countries as spectators.
As the participants acquire 40 percent of their total scores from the practical exams, the teachers that led the group of students noted the importance of improving the availability of laboratory and chemical materials in order to improve the students’ performance in the next olympiads. The next international chemistry olympiad is to take place in Istanbul, Turkey in July, 2020.
