Energy Minister visits UK

/MONTSAME/ Minister of Energy Ts.Davaasuren made a visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. During his visit, the Minister met with some officials.
At the
meeting with MP and UK Trade Envoy to Mongolia Julian Knight and MP John Grogan, Minister Ts.Davaasuren exchanged views on bilateral friendly relations and cooperation as
well as features and current state of Mongolia’s energy sector. While meeting with
MP and Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific Mark Field, Mr. Davaasuren talked on the
possibilities for expanding relations, cooperation and investment between the
two countries in energy sector.
Moreover, Minister
Ts.Davaasuren met with Alain Pilloux, Vice President for Banking at the
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and other authorities.
During the meeting, the sides thoroughly discussed the projects and programs being carried
out in Mongolia with the bank’s funding as well as solutions to problems in
implementing the projects.
