Gher dwelling to be provided to storm-hit 168 households

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ At its
regular meeting on November 28, the Cabinet made a decision to provide Gher
dwelling to 168 households whose homes were destroyed by recent severe snow and
dust storms occurred in Bayan-Ulgii, Gobi-Altai, Khovd and Uvs aimags. The families who lost their homes are currently living in homes of their relatives, school dormitories and
temporary accommodations.
In addition, it was decided
to issue over MNT1.4 billion from the government reserve fund for restoring 110kW
and 220kW transmission lines of Western Energy Systems, state-owned company and building
reserves for possible accidents.
