Vietnamese Vice President pays courtesy call on Parliament Speaker

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Today, May 8, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, who is paying an official visit to Mongolia, paid a courtesy call on Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold, talking about bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Vietnam.
Speaker M.Enkhbold expressed his confidence that the visit would give important influence to strengthen traditional friendly relations and sustain the frequency of political talks. He highlighted the significance of inter-parliamentary cooperation to the relationship of the countries, expressing his content with widened relations between friendship groups in the parliaments, standing committees and Parliamentary offices of the two countries.
Further, Mr. M.Enkhbold said that the Mongolian Parliament is ready to receive a visit by Vietnamese National Assembly delegates headed by a chair of the Standing Committee of Security and Defense. He also noted that the countries should use all possibilities to widen trade and economic relations.

Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh also said she agrees with the position to use all possibilities completely in widening the cooperation and she expressed her hope that over 20 businesspeople accompanying her on the visit would run successful talks with Mongolian counterparts on trade, economic and investment cooperation. She emphasized the importance of supporting each other on regional and international cooperation mechanisms and her hope to jointly make contribution to the world peace. She also underlined Vietnamese readiness to develop cooperation in mineral resources and oil sectors and to mutually supply products.
Afterwards, Speaker M.Enkhbold expressed his confidence that Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh’s talks and agreements with the Prime Minister of Mongolia on trade and economic cooperation would be realized and the representatives of government and businessmen would reach agreements on widening the cooperation, which is not currently sufficient enough, despite the fact that the two countries have been maintaining good relations for a long time. He said “ – The Parliament of Mongolia is ready to support competent and practical initiatives and mutually beneficial, agreements and contracts”.
