Turkish Ambassador Expresses His Gratitude to People of Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, February 20, 2023 /MONTSAME/. After the landing of the Mongolian rescue team, Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Mongolia Zafer Ateş said:
“Southern Turkey was hit with two
major earthquakes on February 6, the largest national disaster of the past 100
years. Turkey is facing a tragic loss right now.
After the disaster, we asked for
help from many countries. The Government of Mongolia immediately sent its team.
We salute all who were among those who landed in the disaster zone and immediately
started their task.
A friend in need is a friend
indeed. Mongolians were with us during this difficult time.
I wanted to express my gratitude
to the search and rescue team. We praise them for their bravery.
To all Mongolians, You are all
our heroes. We will never forget your kindness. Thank you very much."
