Ambassador to Brussels meets Head of International IDEA Europe Programme

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s Ambassador to Brussels L. Bold met with Head of International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance’s (International IDEA) Europe Programme Sam van der Staak.


During the meeting, the sides noted that Mongolia has been a committed and active member state since joining International IDEA in 2011, and expressed their commitment for cooperation in disseminating democracy and electoral education, strengthening good governance and further developing a sustainable democracy process around the world.


In addition, the sides came to a decision to co-organize an online discussion themed ‘Democratic electoral system’ on June 14 in collaboration with the Embassy of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Belgium, the General Election Commission of Mongolia and the International IDEA.
