Regional training underway in Dundgobi aimag

Dundgobi /MONTSAME/. On August 24, a two-day training kicked off under the theme, ‘Capacity building for participatory monitoring, evaluation and ICT’ in Dundgobi aimag, with the participation of over 60 representatives.
In the framework of the technical assistance project on the provision of gender equality with the participation of civil society being implemented by the Government of Mongolia, the National Committee on Gender Equality, and the Asian Development Bank in 2019-2021, the regional training aims to increase the participation of civil society organizations, press and media, and the public in the implementation of policy and programs on gender equality, and build the capacity of state servants and NGOs.
Alongside being informed about participatory monitoring, evaluation and ICT, the participants are acquiring the skills to conduct monitoring and evaluation, and to bring the information to the public by defining the pressing issues regarding gender equality in the aimagв
During the training, Secretary General of the National Committee on Gender Equality T.Enkhbayar held a meeting with the members of the aimag’s committee to discuss gender issues and exchange views.
