Minister D.Sumiyabazar receives Secretary of Party Committee of Inner Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry D.Sumiyabazar received on July 5, delegates headed by Li Jiheng, Secretary of Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr Li Jiheng expressed gratitude to Minister D.Sumiyabazar for welcoming the delegation and expressed willingness to cooperate with Mongolia in the mining sector. Thus, he emphasized support for Mongolia’s appeal to increase border crossings for coal transport and build railways in some places.
He also expressed readiness to focus on expanding cooperation between Mongolia and People's Republic of China, especially Inner Mongolia in all fields.
The Minister stressed the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and expressed interest in cooperating on the development of processing plants. Additionally, he informed them that the government commenced works to put Tavan Tolgoi deposit into economic circulation and possibilities of cooperation on the project.
In turn, Mr Li Jiheng showed interest to cooperate on Tavan Tolgoi project.
