‘Magnificent world of Western Mongolia’ exhibition opens in Ulan-Ude
The ‘Magnificent world of Western Mongolia’ photography exhibition opens today at the Art museum named after Ts.S.Sampilov in Ulan-Ude, the Republic of Buryatia. The exhibition is co-organized by the Association of Mongolian Photographers and the National museum of the Republic of Buryatia with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

Three heritages' certificates of inscription to UNESCO's World Heritage List to be handed
The Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO was established on March 1, 1963. On the occasion of its 55th anniversary a handing over ceremony of three Mongolian heritages' certificates of inscription to UNESCO's World Heritage List will be held on March 6 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The inscribed heritages include Landscapes of Dauria, Stone Stele monument for Mongolian Tanjur and Mongolian traditional practices of worshipping the sacred sites.

The Stone Stele monument for ‘Mongolian Tanjur’ preserved in the National Library of Mongolia was inscribed as World documentary heritage of UNESCO. The monument was created to mark the historical event of arrival of the 226 volumes of the Mongolian Tanjur into the capital city of Mongolia in 1924.
