Presidents of Mongolia and the Republic of Uzbekistan Plant Commemorative Trees

Ulaanbaatar, June 25, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of the President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is paying a State Visit to Mongolia.

with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and First Lady
Ziroat Mirziyoyeva,
planted commemorative trees at the “Ikh Tenger” Complex as a symbol of the
enduring friendship and partnership between the people of Mongolia and
Uzbekistan.
The Heads of
State agreed to strengthen cooperation in the forestry sector by aligning
Mongolia’s “Billions of Trees” National Movement, initiated by the President of
Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa with Uzbekistan’s “Green Space” Project.
This collaboration aims to contribute to global efforts in combating climate change and desertification, and in protecting the environment.
