Mongolia-Venezuela to Cooperate in Mining, Tourism, and Education

Ulaanbaatar, August 25, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh, received the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tatiana Josefina Pugh Moreno, on August 21, 2025.
Minister Battsetseg began by expressing her appreciation for Vice Foreign Minister Tatiana Josefina Pugh Moreno’s participation in the 10th Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC).
The two sides noted that 2025 marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Venezuela, and exchanged views on enhancing the economic dimension of bilateral relations, with particular focus on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the mining, tourism, and education sectors.
