State Visit of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Mongolia Concludes

Ulaanbaatar, June 25, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The State Visit of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Mongolia has concluded today.
This
was the first State Visit by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to
Mongolia since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two
countries in 1992.
During
the State Visit, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of the
Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a tête-à-tête and official
talks, discussing ways to expand and develop friendly relations and mutually
beneficial cooperation and enhance collaboration on regional and international
fora.
Furthermore,
intergovernmental and inter-agency cooperation documents were signed to
strengthen the legal foundation of bilateral relations and expand cooperation
in the fields of mining, environment, education, science, culture, health, and
plant quarantine during the State Visit.
Within
the framework of the State Visit, the “Mongolia-Uzbekistan Tourism Forum,” the
“Mongolia-Uzbekistan Business Forum,” cultural performances by Uzbek artists, a
photo exhibition, and an “Uzbek national cuisine day” were organized.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and First Lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva were seen off by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Uzbekistan Batbaatar Daadankhuu, non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Mongolia Arziyev Farhod, and other officials.
