‘Sky Circle’ and ‘Cable Car’ projects to be implemented
At its regular meeting held on March 10, the Cabinet resolved to implement ‘Sky Circle’ and ‘Cable Car’ projects that were outlined in ‘Vision-2050’ and a general plan to develop Ulaanbaatar city until 2040. Minister of Road and Transport Development B.Enkh-Amgalan presented the decision to the reporters.

Mongolia to evacuate its citizens from South Korea, Japan, and other counties
Under the directive of Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh, the Cabinet at its meeting today decided to evacuate 1,000 Mongolians staying in South Korea on a short-term visa or who have urgent needs by four charter flights.

Fodder and hay to be distributed to regions experiencing severe winter
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At its today’s meeting, the Cabinet decided to distribute a total of 3.8 tons of hay to several aimags, where wintering conditions are at a critical level, for free of charge from the State Reserve.

All flights to and from Russia, Turkey and Kazakhstan to be halted
Today, the State Emergency Commission decided to suspend all scheduled flights to and from Moscow, Istanbul, and Nur-Sultan from March 11 to March 28.

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In connection with the confirmed imported case of the novel coronavirus or Covid-19 in Mongolia, the Emergency Commission of Ulaanbaatar city decided to shut down following service centers and shops in the capital city until March 16, Monday.

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, Covid-19, Mongolia extended the suspension of flights to and from South Korea, Japan, Irkutsk, and Ulan-Ude to Mongolia until March 28.

Hospital equipment worth MNT 3.2 billion handed over to the Ministry of Health
According to the Government resolutions No 30 and No 48 dated in 2020, 9 types and 572 pieces of hospital equipment and devices worth MNT 3.2 billion that are required for prevention and ensuring readiness of medical assistance and services for novel coronavirus infection have been handed over to healthcare organizations including the National Center for Communicable Disease, the State Central First Hospital, the State Central Third Hospital, National Traumatology and Orthopedics Research Center and hospitals of nine districts of the capital city, with investment of projects and programs financed by the Asian Development Bank.

Domestic trains in all routes have begun to be operated from March 3. According to the decision made by the State Emergency Commission on February 26, traffic movement of public transport such as buses, trains, and planes had been suspended as a precautionary measure.
