Stay-at-home advisory issued to all residents in Ulaanbaatar
In compliance with the ongoing five-day strict lockdown measure in place nationwide until November 17 as a step to limit the extent of COVID-19 spread in Mongolia, residents in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar are being asked to adhere to home isolation rule from 11 PM, November 13, Thursday.

A total of 24 close contacts of the Mongolian truck driver and his spouse, who became the first cases of COVID-19 community transmission in Mongolia, had been tracked down and put under isolation in the past several hours.
Once-in-decade bonus approved to archival personnel
On November 11, Wednesday, the cabinet made a decision to privatize six apartments in Darkhan soum of Darkhan-Uul aimag to their current residents for free of charge. Green Climate Fund invests $23.1 million towards building climate resilience of herder communities
At the 27th meeting of its Board, the Green Climate Fund (GCF) yesterday, November 10 approved a new US$23.1 million grant towards strengthening the climate resilience of herder communities in Mongolia. Approximately 26,000 households (130,000 people), living across four of the country’s most remote and vulnerable Western and Eastern aimags (provinces) are set to benefit, with a further 160,000 households (800,000 people) to benefit indirectly – around one quarter of Mongolia’s national population.
