Bulgan aimag declares 2022 year of Green tourism

In 2021, the aimag created campsites for local tourists, improved 4G network coverage to remote travel
destinations, and placed waste sorting bins in villages for better waste
management. This year, Bulgan aimag will provide policy support to tourism
businesses, resorts, tourist camps, and restaurants, eateries and shops along
roads, said the aimag’s Governor B.Ariun-Erdene at the opening of the forum.
Specialist of the Environment and Tourism Ministry’s Tourism Policy Coordination Department B.Odbayar attended the event and presented the government’s tourism promotion policies. As the aimag has been selected as the 2022 partner province of the International Travel Mart expo, the Environment and Tourism Ministry will support the aimag in expanding public and private partnerships, attracting tourists, and improving the incomes of locals.
