Ambassador to Russia meets Managing Director of Russian Export Center

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On August 13, D. Davaa, Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation, met
with A.A. Prokhorova, Managing Director for International Activities and
Interaction with Business Councils, and Group of companies of the Russian
Export Center.
During the meeting, Ambassador D.Davaa noted the possibility
of deepening trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and Russia. The
ambassador expressed interest in importing large quantities of consumer goods
from Russia because of the shortage of consumer goods and rising prices in
Mongolia due to the pandemic. He also introduced a proposal to study the
possibility for Mongolian companies to work as official distributors of reputable
Russian companies.
At the end of the meeting, the sides concurred to put
forward practical ideas and initiatives of cooperation and exchange views in
the near future.
