Online forum discusses challenges faced by Mongolian civil societies in child protection

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Online ‘CSOs Annual Forum-2021’ to make suggestions and recommendations on challenges faced by Mongolian civil society organizations working in the child protection field, and to improve service delivery to victims/survivors of child sexual abuse was successfully organized on May 27, 2021.

It is highlighted that the event was attended by Evgenia Faraza, Project Manager of the EU Delegation to Mongolia, Anja Gold, Asia Regional Team Leader of WVI- Germany, Enkhzul.G, Operations Director of WVI- Mongolia, Oyundari.B, General Coordinator of Beautiful Hearts NGO and Department for FYCD and multidisciplinary team members in Selenge aimag and Songinokhairkhan district and other representatives of CSO’s participating in the project, funded by the European Union.

The online event discussed the further improvements of current issues, lessons learned and experiences of CSO’s in relation with the EU’s CSO’s Thematic programme 2021-2027. Moreover, the CSOs together identified and developed action plan for further development areas in school dropouts, children in welfare centers and with disability, and children living in rural areas.
