Zoonotic Diseases Center disinfects 24,000 square meters in capital city and Selenge aimag

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A total of over 20,000 people were tested for COVID-19 within the past 24 hours, and 4,353 persons who had close contact with nine cases of cluster are being monitored, reports the Ministry of Health. 2,589 healthcare workers are involved in the fight against the coronavirus and cautionary measures.
In connection with the outbreak in the capital city and Selenge aimag, response teams of the National Center for Zoonotic Diseases have carried out disinfection and sterilization works for 24 thousand square meters of area at 47 locations.
