Deputy Education Minister meets French Senator Damien Regnard

/MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports G.Ganbayar
met with French Senator representing French citizens living abroad Damien Regnard,
exchanging views on the development of bilateral cooperation in education,
culture, science and sports.
The Deputy
Minister expressed his interest in conducting joint training and upskilling
coaches in specific sports for Paris 2024 as well as sending Mongolian
volunteers to the Olympics and in expanding the partnership between the Mongolian
universities of medicine, science, agriculture and social sciences and French
universities. He also proposed working together in capacity building of the French
language teachers in Mongolia to give Mongolians, who wish to study in France,
an opportunity to learn French in their home country.
For his
part, Mr. Damien Regnard commended the Deputy Minister’s proposals and pledged
to give a definite reply after discussing them with relevant bodies and organizations.
