Seminar on accelerating implementation of SDG takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the National Statistical Office of Mongolia (NSO) organized a seminar to introduce the report for ‘Accelerating the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals: Mongolia’ and new methods for labor statistics on March 1.
Director of Population and Social Statistics Department of NSO A.Amarbal said, ‘We worked in cooperation with the experts of ILO from 2017 to February 2019 to develop a model report, which defines the framework for decent work indicators of the sustainable development goals as well as the current state.’
Officials of ILO, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions and Mongolian Employers’ Federation and scholars attended the seminar.
