Number of tourists traveled through Dundgobi aimag increased

Dundgobi /MONTSAME/ Number
of tourists traveled through Dundgobi aimag in 2018 has been increased by over 6000
people compared to last year's.
A total of 14185
foreign tourists and 4725 local tourists have visited the aimag. According to the statistics, number of tourists has
been growing year to year. In particular, 3266 foreign and 1178 local
tourists came to the aimag in 2012 whereas the number reached 19540 this year.
Seven tourist
camps and one resort from the aimag attended ITM international tourism expo
held in 2018 and they established contracts with over 100 tour companies thanks
to the promotion of their activities.
Some 10 tourist camps and resorts based on sightseeing places, such as Tsagaan Suvarga, Ikh and Baga Gazryn Chuluu, Ongi Monastery, Sum Khukh Burd and Uush sand dune, have been running stable activities in the aimag.
