Head of NEMA meets CEO of Korea Fire Institute
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Major-General T.Badral, Head of the
National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on November 27, met with a
delegation led by the CEO of Korea Fire Institute.
“NEMA has been cooperating with its South Korean counterpart
since 2006. During this period, our emergency staff have been participating in
meetings, workshops, and training on disaster prevention regularly” highlighted
Mr. Badral.
The Disaster Research Institute under NEMA and the Korea Fire
Institute have established a Memorandum of Cooperation on providing
professional and methodological support in fire-prevention technology and
automatic fire suppression system, as well organizing training.
The sides exchanged views on mutually providing professional
and methodological support in fire-prevention technology, sharing experience,
conducting joint training, as well as forming a research team of the two
countries’ scholars on reducing fire risk and updating fire safety standards
and norms.
