Tribute paid to statues of D.Sukhbaatar and Chinggis Khaan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. For the 94th anniversary of adopting the first constitution and proclaiming the country as a republic, Speaker of Parliament M.Enkhbold and Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh laid wreaths at the statue of D.Sukhbaatar and paid tribute to the statue of Chinggis Khaan.
Deputy PM U.Enkhtuvshin, Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar as well as representatives of the members of the State Great Khural were present at the ceremony.
94 years ago, on November 26, 1924, the first State Great Khural passed the first constitution. With the first constitution in effect, Mongolia transitioned from a monarchy to a republic.
