Mongolia exports 700kg gold

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In January of 2016, two million tons of coal, 569 kilograms of gold and 110.7 thousand tons of oil were extracted in Mongolia, the Ministry of Mining reported at the “Transparent Mining” press conference last week.

Total of 11.7 thousand tons of fluorspar concentrate, 134.2 thousand tons of copper concentrate, 23.2 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate and 6.2 thousand tons of zinc concentrate were produced.

In the same period, 139.7 thousand tons of copper concentrate, 475.2 thousand tons of iron ore, 700kg of gold, 1.2 million tons of coal and 106.3 thousand tons of oil were exported.
