Digital content service to be offered to travelers
The Tourist Information Center at New Ulaanbaatar International Airport in Khushig Valley will commission in July. The center will offer digital content service through VR device to travelers who came to Mongolia.

210 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the past 24 hours
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. It was reported during today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 210 new cases of COVID-19 detected after 10,049 tests performed nationwide in the past 24 hours. It means the highest number of cases within a day, since the first locally confirmed case was recorded.

Over 209,000 people in Mongolia partially vaccinated against COVID-19
It was reported at today’s COVID-19 daily briefing by the Ministry of Health, a total of 209,278 people in Mongolia have received the first dose of vaccine against COIVD-19. Among them, 205,844 people in Ulaanbaatar city and 3,434 people – mine workers in Umnugobi aimag have been vaccinated.

The World Happiness Report 2020 has been released by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network and Mongolia was ranked 70th out of 149 countries, being moved up by 11 places from last year.

Today marks 40th anniversary of Mongolia’s first space flight
Today marks the 40th anniversary of the first space flight by a Mongolian. On this day in 1981, Hero of Mongolian People’s Republic, Hero of USSR Jugderdemidiin Gurragchaa along with twice Hero of USSR, Hero of Mongolian People’s Republic, Soviet cosmonaut V.A.Dzhanibekov flew into space on the Soyuz 39 spacecraft, landing back on Earth at 7.42 pm on March 30.

170 new COVID-19 cases recorded
It was reported at today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 170 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected after performing 9,520 tests nationwide in the past 24 hours.

 A charter flight en route Frankfurt-Ulaanbaatar landed today at Buyant-Ukhaa airport, bringing 153 citizens who submitted requests to return home from Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, England, Belgium, Finland, Czech, Austria, France, Italy and Tanzania.
