President of Mongolia Welcomes President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Ulaanbaatar, June 24, 2025 /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, First Lady Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj officially welcomed President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and First Lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva at the Sukhbaatar Square on June 24, 2025.
Upon a report of the Commander of the State Honor Guard,
the National Anthems of Mongolia and Uzbekistan were performed. The two
Presidents paid tribute to the State Ceremonial White Military Banner, and
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev greeted the State Honor Guard of Mongolia.
The Heads of State greeted the Mongolian and Uzbek
delegations, Heads of Diplomatic missions, and representatives of international
organizations in Mongolia.
Following the welcoming ceremony, the Heads of State paid
tribute to the statue of the Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan and President Shavkat
Mirziyoyev signed the Book of Honored Guests at the State Palace.
This State Visit of the President Sh.Mirziyoyev is the
first high-level visit by the Head of State of the Republic of Uzbekistan since
the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Mongolia and Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations on January 25, 1992.
