Digital content service to be offered to travelers

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Tourist Information Center at New Ulaanbaatar International Airport in Khushig Valley will commission in July. The center will offer digital content service through VR device to travelers who came to Mongolia.
The Tourism Development Center state owned enterprise and “Digital Solutions” startup company at the National University of Mongolia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on March 18. In aims of promoting Mongolia to the world, the sides will cooperate to launch digital reform in tourism industry and create conditions to promote Mongolia in virtual environment to foreign and domestic tourists. Furthermore, digital contents targeted to develop local tourism will be created alongside introducing digital information platform and virtual tourism and creating data base and software dedicated to it.
"Digital Solutions" startup company aims to open up an opportunity to travel in virtual environment and boost digital tourism. The company launched its studies six years ago, creating digital contents that show customs, culture, history and natural beautiful places of 21 aimags of Mongolia using VR device.
