Role of Mongolia in ensuring security of Northeast Asia and the Korean unification
Three major issues were discussed in the course of “UB International Roundtable”. Firstly, the unification of North and South Korea, secondly, the making of Northeast Asia a nuclear-weapon-free region, and thirdly, the ways to establish peace in this region. These issues are closely tied to each other, in particular, the peace in Northeast Asia will never be established without denuclearizing Korean Peninsula, and without unifying North and South Korea in a peaceful way and regional security issues will always be a delicate subject.
