Events in Ulaanbaatar:
July 28: World Hepatitis Day will be observed.
July 28: A press briefing on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day, themed
“Let's Prevent Liver Cancer by Stopping the Spread of Viral Hepatitis,” will be held
at the Ministry of Health.
July 28: Member of the State Great Khural Amgalanbaatar Ochirbat will present a
proposed revision to the Law on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances at
the State Palace.
July 29: International Atomic Energy Agency Day will be observed.
July 29: Mongolian Democratic Elections Day will be celebrated.
August 1: 36th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
relations between Mongolia and the European Union.
August 3: Mongolian Railway Workers' Day will be observed.
– The special exhibition “Mongol Avdar” remains open to the public at the National Museum of Mongolia until July 29, 2025.
Local Events:
July 27–28: A traditional worship ceremony for Mount Ikh Adaatsag
will be held in Dundgovi aimag.
August 1–3: An open basketball tournament named after the Governor of
Sukhbaatar soum, Selenge aimag, will take place.
August 2: A regional horse race for the senior age category will be
organized in Selenge aimag, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Federation of Mongolian
Horse Racing Sport and Trainers and the 15th anniversary of “Bugan Khaliun Ajnai” Mongolian Horse Racing and Trainers’ Association.
August 2: The fourth round of the Mongolian National Motocross Championship will be co-organized by the Mongolian Automobile Motorcycle Sports Federation and the Selenge Aimag Automobile Motorcycle Sports Federation in Sukhbaatar soum, Selenge aimag.
– The temporary exhibition “Nature Up Close” will be on display at the Arkhangai aimag Museum until July 28, 2025.
