Mongolia-Austria Intergovernmental Commission Meeting on Economic Cooperation held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 7th Intergovernmental Commission Meeting between Mongolia and Austria on Economic Cooperation took place in Ulaanbaatar city on October 17.
At the meeting co-chaired by Mongolia’s Minister of Construction and Urban Development Kh.Badelkhan and Director General for Foreign Economic Relations of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs of Austria Franz Vessig, the parties exchanged views on current state and further opportunities of bilateral investment and economic cooperation. Moreover, they talked over possibilities of carrying out joint projects in social infrastructure especially cultural sphere and reflected it in a protocol. The sides also expressed delight with signing of a new general intergovernmental agreement on financial cooperation.
Furthermore, the Mongolian side presented about Government policies on environment, culture and renewable energy while 15 delegation from nine Austrian companies which are collaborating in the projects being implemented in Mongolia or have willingness to partner made brief introductions.
