Mongolia Attends High-Level Meeting Commemorating 30th Anniversary of 4th World Conference on Women

/MONTSAME/. During the General Debate at the 80th Session of the United
Nations General Assembly, the High-Level Meeting to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary
of the 4th World Conference on Women (Beijing+30) took place at the United
Nations Headquarters in New York, United States of America.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of
Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh, participated in the Meeting, which was held
under the theme “Recommitting to, resourcing and accelerating the
implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action to achieve
gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls,” and presented policies,
measures, and goals set by the Government of Mongolia regarding the implementation
of the document, fostering gender equality, and empowering women.
In addition to delegations from states and governments of UN member countries, relevant civil society organizations, and representatives of participating and interested stakeholders attended the High-Level Meeting and shared experiences.
