Inner Mongolian Cultural Days Commence

Ulaanbaatar, September 17, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 13th “Knowing China - Inner Mongolian Cultural Days event officially started on September 16, 2025.


The exhibition themed “Advancing cooperation and development through strengthening China-Mongolia friendship” was showcased at the National Art Gallery as the opener for the 13th organization of the event in Ulaanbaatar. In addition to over 600 of the best books on politics, economics, culture, society, ecology, as well as Chinese language textbooks and children’s literature, “The Governance of China” by Xi Jinping was also displayed to readers. N. Munkhzul, the Head of the Department for Coordination of Cultural and Art Policy Implementation at the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth (MOCSTY), and Shen Minjuan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia, among other officials, attended the exhibition opening.


The “Witness of Friendship” exhibition consisted of seven sections: the history of Mongolian-Chinese friendship, books about China, calligraphy books, the “Good Neighbor’s Window” photograph, Embroidery of Tusheet, voluntary medical services, and exchange of Mongolian doctors of traditional medicine, and cultural creative products from China’s northern border region.


As part of the 3-day cultural event, the “Ode to Joy 5” TV series premiered, and artists from Mongolia and Inner Mongolia performed to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival at the Central Cultural Palace. Furthermore, films such as ‘Nezha 2’, ‘The Tale of the White Snake: The Return of the King’, ‘Lai Fu Hotel’, ‘Come to Me’, and ‘Rescuing the Suspect’ are on display for the Mongolian public at the ‘Prime Cineplex’ and ‘Tengis’ cinemas, and a meeting has been planned between Mongolian and Chinese filmmakers.
