Mongolia Wins Bronze in 8th Asian Junior Taekwondo Poomsae Championships

2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian athletes won the bronze medal in the poomsae category
at the 8th Asian Junior, Cadet, and Para Taekwondo Championships 2025, held from July 25 to 28, 2025, in
Kuching, Malaysia.
Of over 1,300 athletes
from 44 countries who competed in the eighth annual tournament, 39 participated
from Mongolia. Athletes Dulguun Bayarmunkh, Amar Amgalan, and Gankhuyag
Doljinsuren won the bronze medal by defeating athletes from the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia and the Republic of India in the team male category. Additionally, Dulguun
Bayarmunkh was recognized as the “Most Promising Athlete” of the tournament.
The Mongolian Taekwondo Federation has announced that the 9th Asian Junior, Cadet, and Senior Poomsae and Para Taekwondo Championships will be held in Mongolia in 2026.
